Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") are an agreement between you and Kali Artistry ("Kali Artistry," "we," "our," or "us") governing your use of the Madali mobile application and related services (the "Service"). Before entering Madali, you must actively accept the current Terms and acknowledge the Privacy Policy. We record the accepted version and server time on your Madali user record.

Using Madali

You may use Madali to create and coordinate celebrations, share schedules, invite participants, assign helper tasks, send operational announcements, and use private event-photo features. You must be at least 13 years old and legally able to agree to these Terms. If you use Madali for an organization or another person, you confirm that you have authority to do so.

You are responsible for activity under your account, protecting your sign-in credentials and invite codes, entering accurate information, and obtaining permission before adding another person's information.

Acceptable use

You may not misuse the Service. In particular, you may not:

break the law, infringe intellectual property or privacy rights, harass or harm anyone, or post hateful, threatening, sexually explicit, violent, deceptive, abusive, or otherwise objectionable content;
upload malicious code or content, interfere with the Service, bypass access controls, or attempt unauthorized access;
use automated means to scrape, overload, reverse engineer, or resell the Service except where applicable law expressly permits it; or
use Madali for emergency dispatch, medical, safety-critical, or other uses where delayed or missing information could cause serious harm.

Use the in-app reporting controls for content or participants that violate these rules, and use blocking when you no longer want to receive a person's announcements or related alerts. Do not knowingly submit false or abusive reports. We may review reported content and related account or celebration information, remove content, restrict functionality, or suspend or terminate access when reasonably necessary to protect users, Kali Artistry, or the Service, enforce these Terms, or comply with law.

Your content

You retain ownership of content you enter in Madali. You grant Kali Artistry a limited, worldwide license to host, copy, transmit, display, and process that content only as needed to operate, secure, and improve the Service. You represent that you have the rights and permissions needed to provide the content.

People who join a celebration may be able to view celebration information based on their role. You are responsible for choosing whom to invite and for sharing invite codes carefully.

Event photos and Google Drive

A host may connect a Google Drive account and open photo uploads for a celebration. Madali creates a private event folder in that host's Drive and uses the limited drive.file permission. The host controls the Drive account, its available space, and the files stored there. Participants must upload only photos they have the right and permission to share.

Madali may resize or compress photos before upload and may pause uploads if the host's Drive lacks sufficient capacity or Google rejects an upload. Participants remain responsible for the source photo on their device. Madali does not promise that every upload will complete or that Google Drive will remain available. Deleting a Madali event or account does not automatically delete media from the host's Google Drive.

Participants normally see only their own uploads. The host can see all event uploads and may choose photos for a shared in-app guest gallery. Do not use event-photo features for unlawful, infringing, intimate, exploitative, or otherwise prohibited content.

Free, prior purchases, and Pro access

Madali offers Free access and auto-renewable Madali Pro monthly and yearly subscriptions. Madali previously offered a one-time, non-consumable purchase called Madali Lifetime. Build 37 no longer presents it as a new-purchase option in Madali. Any completed Lifetime purchase remains permanent for the purchasing store account, with the feature set described in these Terms: unlimited helpers and vendors, multiple active celebrations, targeted updates, and event photos. Pro includes those host features and, while the subscription is active, adds the professional planner workspace: the client portfolio, saved crews, and guest-list work kept separately for each client. Subscribing to Pro does not remove or limit anything an existing Lifetime purchase unlocked, and if you own Lifetime and later cancel Pro, that Lifetime access remains available in full.

Pro renews automatically unless canceled in your Apple App Store or Google Play subscription settings before renewal. The price and billing period shown before purchase control and may include applicable taxes. Purchases, renewals, billing, refunds, and store-account access are processed by Apple or Google under their terms. Use the in-app Restore Purchases option to restore an eligible purchase. Deleting an event, deleting a Madali account, or uninstalling the app does not itself cancel a Pro subscription.

Third-party services

Madali depends on services provided by Google Firebase, Google Drive, RevenueCat, Apple, and Google. Their services may be governed by separate terms, and we are not responsible for third-party services outside our control.

Service changes and availability

We may add, change, suspend, or discontinue features. Madali is designed to work offline for many tasks, but syncing, invitations, purchases, authentication, notifications, Google Drive connections, photo uploads, and shared galleries require internet access. We do not guarantee that notifications, synchronized updates, or uploads will always arrive immediately or without error. Keep an appropriate backup plan for time-sensitive celebration logistics and important media.

Disclaimers

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service is provided "as is" and "as available." Kali Artistry disclaims implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or meet every requirement. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain disclaimers, so they may not apply to you.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Kali Artistry and its owners, employees, and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, goodwill, or opportunities arising from Madali. Kali Artistry's total liability for all claims relating to the Service will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid Kali Artistry for Madali in the 12 months before the claim or US $50. These limits do not apply where prohibited by law.

Ending use and account deletion

You may stop using Madali at any time. You can permanently delete your account from Home → Settings (gear icon) → Delete account. Deletion removes your authentication account and profile, celebrations you own and their content, updates you sent, and your access and identity links in shared celebrations.

Planning changes you made in a celebration owned by someone else may remain for that event team without being linked to your deleted account. Media already stored in a host's Google Drive remains under that host's control. As described in our Privacy Policy, Kali Artistry may retain a minimal server-only marker containing your former Firebase user ID for security, abuse prevention, and stale-session prevention, and may retain protected safety or moderation records. Account deletion does not cancel or refund a store purchase or subscription; purchase records may remain with Apple, Google, or RevenueCat as required to process or restore purchases. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except where your local consumer law requires otherwise. Courts located in New Jersey will have jurisdiction over disputes, unless applicable law gives you the right to bring a claim elsewhere.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. We will post the revised Terms and change the effective date, and we will provide additional notice when required. When renewed consent is required, Madali will prevent access to the Service until you actively accept the updated Terms.
