Frequently asked questions

How do I start or join a celebration?

On the welcome screen, choose to create a celebration or join one with an invite code. You may sign in with a supported account or choose Continue without account. If an invite code does not work, check each character, make sure you are online, and ask the celebration owner to share the current code again.

Why are changes not syncing?

Many Madali features work offline, but syncing with other participants requires an internet connection. Reconnect, reopen the celebration, and allow a moment for updates to arrive. If the issue continues, email support with your device type and Madali version.

Why am I not receiving notifications?

Confirm that notifications are enabled for Madali in your device settings and that your device is online. Notifications can occasionally be delayed by device power-saving settings or network conditions, so do not rely on them as the only source for time-sensitive plans.

How do I restore Madali Lifetime?

Build 37 no longer presents Madali Lifetime as a new-purchase option in Madali, and restoring an existing purchase is free, forever. Open Madali's purchase screen and choose Restore Purchases while signed in to the same Apple or Google store account used for the original purchase. If it still does not unlock, email support and include the store platform and order or receipt number, but do not send payment-card details.

I subscribed to Pro. How do I cancel?

Pro is billed by Apple or Google, so cancel it in your App Store or Google Play subscription settings. Deleting an event, deleting your Madali account, or uninstalling the app does not cancel a subscription on its own.

How do I report or block an update?

Open the celebration's Updates screen, choose the safety-options button on an update you received, then select Report this update or Block. A report sends Kali Artistry a protected copy of the update and your reason for review. Blocking hides that person's updates and stops their update alerts for you; it does not remove anyone from the celebration or change any role. To reverse a block, open Updates → Blocked people → Unblock. For urgent safety concerns or trouble using these controls, email support.

Delete your Madali account

The fastest way to permanently delete your account is directly in Madali:

  1. Open Madali and, from Home, tap Settings (the gear icon).
  2. Scroll to Delete account and select it.
  3. Review the notice, confirm deletion, and complete Apple or Google verification if Madali asks you to verify your sign-in.

If you cannot access the app, email support@madalievents.com with the subject Madali account deletion. Send the request from the email associated with your account when possible and include your display name and sign-in method so we can locate the account and verify ownership. If you used Madali anonymously, the in-app option is the most reliable method; otherwise, email us and we will help determine whether the account can be verified.

What is deleted and what may remain

Deleting your account removes your Madali authentication account and profile, celebrations you own and their content, updates you sent, your memberships, notification tokens, and your access and identity links in celebrations owned by someone else. Madali also clears its local account data from the device where you complete the deletion.

Planning changes you made in a celebration owned by someone else may remain so that the event team's shared plan still works, but they will no longer be linked to your account. Other participants' content and celebrations they own are not deleted.

Kali Artistry may retain a minimal, server-only deletion marker containing your former Firebase user ID solely to prevent abuse and stop a stale signed-in session from recreating the deleted account. The marker does not contain your profile or celebration content. Protected safety or moderation records—including a copy of content submitted in a safety report—may also be retained to protect users, investigate abuse, enforce our Terms, or meet legal obligations, as described in the Privacy Policy.

Purchase records held by Apple, Google, or RevenueCat may remain as required to process or restore purchases. Account deletion does not cancel or refund a store purchase.
